Moving On

I completed the interior panel installation and inserted the back seat. I am now getting ready to carpet the interior. I am also on a parts hunt today.

Brakes are done

Completed the master cylinder change out and finished bleeding the brakes last night. Stops very good now. I started replacing the door panels and I wish someone else was doing it. No fun.

Pulled the master cylinder out last night and it looks pretty rough. I found a replacement for 35.00 but need hoses that will resist brake fluid. I will check out a specialty auto store today and see if I can purchase the hoses and maybe have it back together by tonight.

Trunk Completed

It was getting late so this was the completed trunk liner for under 25.00. It took about 4 hours with clean up and an interruption, ( my daughter broke the washing machine, I had to hand empty the water out and move the washer to the garage). I plan to buy a master cylinder today and start to replace it tonight.

I cut the hardboard with a jig saw and glued the carpet on with a good 3m carpet adhesive.

More Brake Work

I have replaced almost everything in the brake system and it seems like the master cylinder is bad, so I took a brake from mechanical work (no pun intended) and took last night to work on the trunk liner. I made a card board pattern, and went to Lowes and purchased the hardboard and glue for about 12.00. I then found a role of cheap black carpet at O'reilys Auto parts for 10.99.

Brakes are done now on to the front end shimmy. I need tie rods , ball joints, bushings, and an alignment. Hope the weather stays nice.
