Super Beetles are notorious about front end shimmy and shakes. To fix this I replaced the control and Pittman arm bushings with Urethane and also replaced the tie rods, ball joints, and steering damper. After a front end alignment it feels like a new car.

I'm just starting my restoration on a 71. It starts shaking about 52 mph pretty bad. Any recommendations?
